The right filament depends on what the part must do — its load, its environment, and how it's used day to day.

Functional default

PETG

Our functional default. Strength, impact resistance, and better heat resistance than standard PLA — well suited to electronics housings and workshop parts.

Engineering material

ABS

Tougher and more heat-resistant than PLA. Good for parts that need to withstand a bit more heat or impact while staying machinable.

Selected applications

ASA

ABS-derived with better resistance to sunlight and weather. A sensible pick for parts that live outdoors or in bright, warm spaces.

Reinforced material

Nylon

Great toughness, wear resistance, and a little flex. Fits moving parts, clips, and components that take repeated loads.

Carbon-fiber-infused

Stiff and dimensionally stable, with a matte finish. For structurally demanding parts where rigidity matters.

Glass-fiber-infused

Great stiffness and thermal stability in a lighter, more neutral finish. A strong candidate for bracketry and fixtures.

Material selection depends on the part design, intended environment, and required performance. Available materials and colors can vary with current filament stock.

Dedicated support materials.

When a part is too complex to print cleanly in one piece, we build it with soluble or breakaway supports. That lets us achieve overhangs, internal channels, and undercuts that would otherwise be impossible — and leaves a clean surface after removal.

Workflow

From requirement to finished part.

Requirement gathering

Identify the device or object. We collect dimensions, photos, reference files, or a product link — plus ports, buttons, ventilation, mounting, and assembly needs.

Design & adaptation

We create or modify a 3D model around your requirements, accounting for clearances, tolerances, cable access, screw placement, and print orientation.

Prototype printing

A test version, usually in PETG for functional parts. We check fitment, assembly, access to controls and connectors, and mounting performance.

Iteration & refinement

We modify based on real-world fitment — refining button alignment, tolerances, wall thickness, ventilation, and mounting geometry.

Final production

We produce the approved design in your material and color, inspect the print, and check basic fit and assembly before dispatch.

What to send us

Help us get it right.

  • Device or module name and exact model number
  • Dimensions or a technical drawing
  • Clear photographs from multiple angles
  • Required color and finish, and intended use (desktop, portable, wall- or panel-mounted, outdoor, or embedded)
  • Required access to buttons, displays, ports, antennas, and connectors
  • Whether screws, inserts, buttons, or hinges are needed, plus quantity and target date

What to expect

Expect a fit, not a guess.

  • Fitment depends on the accuracy of the supplied dimensions and reference device.
  • Board revisions, clones, or manufacturer variations may not fit identically.
  • Prototype designs may need one or more test iterations.
  • 3D-printed parts show layer lines and minor surface texture.
  • Color can vary slightly due to lighting, display settings, and filament batches.
